New Tortoises

This month we had a new addition to our family with our two new baby sulcata tortoises Gus & Little Miss. They are just about the cutest things I have ever seen and quickly fell in love with both of them. Originally we were supposed to keep one and give the other to Paul and his family but we quickly realized we couldn't part with either one and in the end had to order a new one for Paul. Right now the little guys are only about two inches long but they will grow to be somewhere between 100 & 150 lbs and can live to be 100 years old, so they will be in the family for a long time to come. Our dog Rev is having a little bit of an adjustment because he is used to getting all the attention and doesn't like to share. He whines and paws at their cage. In a couple of years they will be hanging out in the back yard all summer together, so I hope they learn to get along.
